It's 2022, half baked console games made on Unity have proper controls on PC. I know that this is mainly a console shooter, but come on - why does it feel like I'm emulating analog movement with mouse? It's not like I'm playing an emulated XBOX 360 game, I'm playing a native version of a PC game. Halo Infinite is an upcoming FPS Shooter developed by 343 Industries. Mouse controls are disgusting to say the least. It’s no surprise that many would want to try to emulate Lucid on the controller.
I never understood this feature, even when using the controller because controller players play high sensitivity only to be fast and responsive when moving around, so if anything this should be the opposite. Lucid is a true pro in the Halo scene, helping propel OpTic to one of the best teams in the game in the world. Why is the sensitivity also lower when sprinting? Why is there no option to disable that? I despise this feature in every game that uses it. Horizontal should be slightly faster/ higher than vertical sensitivity. Also it feels like I have mouse acceleration turned on while not having mouse acceleration turned on. If you’re playing with a lower sensitivity, mouse acceleration benefits immensely when you need to swing around fast. Mouse movement feels very jumpy, like it interpolates every few steps instead of being smooth & sharp like in any other proper FPP game. I can't be the only one that feels the same way.
